If you are planning construction activities that will affect our existing water apparatus you will need to enquire about a Mains Diversion. There are different types of Mains Diversion requests:
Statutory Enquiries
Our processes are bound by procedures set out in Appendix C of the code of Practice produced by the Highways Authority and Utilities Committee (HAVC) for Major Diversionary Works. i.e. C2 preliminary enquiries.

Non-Statutory Enquiries
You will need to complete the application form and send it to new.developments@portsmouthwater.co.uk
As part of your application you will need to supply us with; the site address including post code or grid co-ordinates and an allocation plan or sketch.
We will provide you with; a copy of our plans showing the proposed diversion and the cost of the work inclusive of Terms and Conditions.
